Who am I?

Who am I?
BJ Kim, Social Studies

Who is BJ?

BJ is a very energetic person, a practical ball of energy that consistently brings in enthusiasm on any situation. He is very strict on racism; he hates the way discrimination divide the world into many group. He likes to listen to music and play soccer.

What does BJ want to be when he grows up?

I want to have a job that specializes in my hobbies and skills and pay abundant wage, but a job where I deserve the more-than-enough wage. Not to mention, I want a job that I would enjoy. An example would be an economist of any kind, since I specialize in math and occasionally enjoy it, and every economy-related job has the motto, “No pain, no gain.”

Why was BJ born here in Indonesia instead of Korea?

My parents moved in here before I was born so my dad could get a job. We were considering returning to Korea after 4 years when my dad’s contract was due, but that changed when my dad established his very own company here, and we’ve stayed in Jakarta ever since. He now runs it very successfully with a lot of clients making his company grow bigger.

Where did BJ travel during summer vacation?

I mainly stayed in Korea so I could spend time with my relatives, but I also went to Bali for a few days to simply chill out.

When was BJ born?

I was born on a rather strange date, February 29, which happens to be a leap year date, meaning that this day comes once every four years. So technically, you can think of me as a 3-year-old studying 8th grade math. =-)

How do BJ spend his time during the Christmas break?

Just like summer vacation, I visit my relatives in Korea, but I also ski and skateboard since winter is one of my favorite season. I’m planning to go skiing again this winter break.
